The GRANIKAL Sales and Marketing team had the unique opportunity to visit the facilities of Amaro Montenegro, Select Aperitivo and Luxardo in Italy as well as to learn about the authentic culture of Aperitivo in the cities of its “birth”, Bologna, Padua and Venice.
The trip started on the first day in Bologna and more specifically at the headquarters of the Montenegro group, where a very interesting training seminar was held on the flagship products Amaro Montenegro and Select Aperitivo. Then there was a tour of the production area of the products as well as a detailed analysis of all the production stages of the drinks.
The second stop was Padua, specifically the Luxardo production unit where a visit was made on the second day of the trip. This was followed by a tour of the entire production line of the iconic Maraschino as well as the rest of the famous Luxardo liqueurs. Then there was an exclusive tour of the newly established Luxardo Museum. A large and impressive space where one can learn and experience through modern audio-visual media the entire shocking 200-year history of Luxardo.
On the third day, a tour took place in Venice, the city where the Select Venetian Spritz was “born”. In this last stop the GRANIKAL team enjoyed the authentic Venetian aperitivo experience.
The group’s return to Athens was full of images, aromas, tastes and ideas!
