
A great red wine made from 100% Aglianico, a top example of the house’s production, sourced from the Montemarano estates and others, at high altitude (~550 m) in clay-limestone soils with many stones. On the nose, cherry, blackberry, plum, forest fruits, with notes of leather, smoke, chocolate, licorice, pepper, and spices. Also balsamic elements. On the palate, it has a rich body, solid structure, ripe tannins, and a long finish with ripe fruits, pepper, vanilla, and wood.
