It comes from pre-phylloxera vineyards aged 100 years, on the northern cool slopes of Attavyros, on Rhodes.
There, Athiri develops in poor volcanic soils, at an altitude of 900 meters.
The slow fermentation at low temperatures and the 8 months it remains on the lees in a stainless steel tank preserve the purity of the character and enhance its structure.
Its color is white with green shades. Its aroma is complex, with ripe citrus fruits like citron and grapefruit, while the peels and orange blossoms dominate, followed by notes of almond and fresh bread crust. Its taste is rich with intense minerality.
