
Deep red color with ripe aromas of raspberry, coffee, tobacco and pepper. Notes of dark chocolate, wood. Rich, ripe tannins with concentrated mouthfeel and long aftertaste.
The vineyards are located in Rioja Alta (mainly Labastida and Villalba), in clay-limestone soils, at an altitude of ~500–600m.
Fermentation in small tanks, extraction for maximum fruit expression. Aging for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
