LOS HOYALES CRUZ DE ALBA 2018

Deep, bright ruby ​​color with violet highlights. Aromas of black ripe fruits such as blackberry, plum, hints of spices and forest notes such as wet earth and mushrooms. Ripe tannins with a rounded structure. Long clean aftertaste.

The vineyards are located in the D.O Ribera del Duero and occupy just 1.8 hectares of the area at an altitude of 700 meters near the Duero River. The Tempranillo of Los Hoyales is from 70 year old vines and are considered the oldest plantings in the area since 1958.

Biodynamic philosophy wine. Vinification and fermentation in French oak barrels for 22 months with periodic stirring, then bottled without filtering or clarification, remaining in the bottle for 12 months before release.

Annual production of 7,000 bottles.
